SGNP - Shilonda Trail

TREK TO SGNP – SHILONDA TRAIL (December 10th, 2017 – 7:30 am to 01:00 pm)

Shilonda, a nature’s heaven right in the backyard of Mumbai. Shilonda trail leads us through lust green forest that stretches for over 2 km, located in the heart of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park in a protected eco-sensitive zone. An early morning hike in this forest trail rejuvenates and recharges you for days to come.

This trail has plenty to explore in terms of flora and fauna so be ready to play a nature detective. Carry field guides, binoculars, magnifying glasses, an old paper note book to play treasure hunt in Nature.  There are also few streams flowing across this trail that has water till late winter. We will also have a small complimentary archery session towards end of the trail if time permits.
