"Where the rain writes verses on ancient stone,
And each step echoes a forgotten tale—
Sondai rises not to conquer, but to call,
Inviting the soul to climb, pause, and exhale." 🌿

Sondai Summit Monsoon Trek
A Hidden Gem in the Karjat Highlands
Nestled in the lush folds of the Karjat region, Sondai
Fort rises modestly at 1200 ft (366 m) above sea level, yet offers a
monsoon trekking experience that’s anything but ordinary. Often overshadowed by
its more famous neighbors—Rajmachi, Irshalgad, Peb, Kothaligad,
and Bhimshankar—Sondai remains a quiet sentinel of the Sahyadris,
waiting to be discovered by those who seek solitude, mist, and the thrill of
ascent.
