Prabalmachi Trek without transport

Easy trek in the countryside with gentle hill climb ending on a plateau having a birds-eye view of the region on one side and Kalavanting Durg and Prabal gad fort hill in the backyard.  Prabal Machi is a small hamlet located on this plateau. One will also get to explore small forests, farms, and village homes in and around this Hamlet.

Altitude: 1500 feet above mean sea level
Experience Category: Trek easy grade climbing a hill plateau (around two hours ascend and two hours for descending; plus, time spent exploring the countryside).

Location: 20 KM from Panvel; just off the first exit from Mumbai-Pune Express Highway (Sedung Phata).

Best Season: The best seasons are Monsoon and Winter, but it is good round the year.

Duration: One Day trip from Pune / Mumbai.
