Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 Arrive Srinagar Airport . - On Arrival you will be transferred to the House boat , evening 30 mins Shikara ride on the lake. Over night at the House Boat in Srinagar L/D

Day 02 Srinagar Sonmarg Kargil 7/8 Hrs drive 250 Kms..- Sonmarg - the Meadow of Gold Depart from Srinagar as per road opening timings. The drive to Sonamargh is  another spectacular facet of country side in Kashmir in Sindh Valley. The Sindh Valley is the largest tributary of the valley of Kashmir. drive to Kargil  the road passes through the panoramic village reach Sonmarg (2740 Mtrs). After Sonmarg most rough road and wet Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs (Gateway of Ladakh). Continue drive towards Drass (The second coldest inhibited place in the world) k. Another two and half hours drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Mtrs) which has got its importance after opening the Ladakh for tourists in 1974 Over Night at the Hotel in Kargil. BF/PKDL/D

Day 03: Kargil – Uleytopko  via Batalik.
Morning after breakfast leave for Uleytopko after  crossing Batalik  war zone for the Indian soldiers in 1999  this route is also opened for tourist in 2010,Silmo, Dha, Beema(it’s a lovely village of the  Aryans who still lives there), Further Driver to Lamayuru  and through Moonlandscape route Reach Uleytopko  by Evening Overnight in Uleytopko   

Day 04: Uley - Leh. Rafting on Indus River
After the Breakfast drive to Leh enroute visit Alchi monastery, Magnetic hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame museum. Arrive at Leh by afternoon. Overnight in Leh. Meetings and Briefing in the evening

Day 05 : Leh Khardungla-  Nubra Valley Tour of Khardungla Pass 18832 Ft , Nubra Valley and Hundur Sand Dunes  –  Drive 120 Kms 4/5 Hrs ( Temperatures below Freezing point at Khardungla Pass) ensure to carry heavy winter clothes as most of the time this pass has snow .Khardungla is the World's highest motorable road at 18832 feet above sea level. At Khardungla pass the snow capped peaks and the mountain views are amazing. The road then passes through a bridge laid on Glacier which finds its way in Guinness Book of world records , Drive through the Valley which is extremely beautiful for photography.Nubra Valley is the Oasis of Ladakh as you see some colourful trees in this region. Later reach your camp  visit the Sand Dunes if lucky you will get the sight of the Two Hump Bacterian camels, enjoy time at  the Sand Dunes of Nubra valley spread across Hundur Village . Over Night at the camp in Nubra Valley

Day 06: Hunder - Tyakshi – Hunder.
After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place captured by Indians in the war of 1972 with Pakistan, enroute visit Tyakshi(it is the border which divides India and Pakistan), reach Hunder by evening.. Over Night at the camp in Nubra Valley

Day 07: After Breakfast proceed to  Diskit monastery which is 515 years old situated on a hill top giving panoramic view of the valley later walk around the town of Diskit which has a small village market. Proceed back to Leh cross Khardungla Pass once again and reach Leh. Later we will visit Singhu point (Indus river where all the Singhes pay holy bath) and Stok Museum. The Stok palace and museum is around 200 years old. The palace and museum at Stok is a showpiece for the royal tankhas, royal crown, dresses, coins, precious stones and turquoise head dresses.return back to the hotel for Dinner over Night at the Hotel in Leh.

Day 08: Leh Local Tour of Hemis, Thiksey and Shey monastery and Shanti Stupa - After a leisurely breakfast, we drive to visit Hemis Monastery situated 45 kilometers west of Leh; Hemis is the largest and the wealthiest monastery in Ladakh.From Hemis, you are driven back taking the same route to visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hill-lock with formidable views of the Indus valley. Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk.After that we continue to drive through series of chortens to visit Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh.Later in the afternoon, we will then drive to visit the Shanti stupa to catch the entire view of Leh city with the Indus River, we will spend some time to catch the sunset and and further on to Leh Dinner and Over Night at the Hotel in Leh. Day 09: Leh to Spangmik .. Pangong Lake  
After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motorable road in the world) Arrival at Camp, Hot Lunch will be served at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. Overnight On the banks of Pangong Lake in Swiss Double Bedded Camp.

Day 10: Spangmik - Man Merak - Leh.
After Breakfast drive from Spangmik to Man Merak  also opened for the tourist for the first time in 2010 after that drive  back to Leh with  the sweet memory of Man Merak which is also a border which divides China and India. Back to Leh by evening. Overnight in Leh .

Day 11: Peace is Bliss a day to wander  in Leh on your own .Over night in Leh

Day 12: Leh - Nyoma.
After breakfast drive to Nyoma(first time opened for the tourist in 2010) via Mya bridge passing Chumathang (Hot Spring) along the Indus river, visit the beauty of the village whole day, later visit to last village from Indian side at Loma. Overnight in Nyoma

Day 13: Nyoma - Tsomoriri Lake.
Morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri lake. Spend your evening on lake by leisure walk on the banks of lake.Overnight in Tsomoriri Lake .

Day 14: Tsomoriri Lake Tsokar – Sarchu.
Early Morning drive to Serchu passing Puga  (Sulphur Mine), Tsokar Lake, Skyang chu Thang Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Stretch of 42 Kms, Enjoy your pack lunch at Pang, post lunch leave for Sarchu by crossing Nakeela and Lchung La. Arrive Sarchu by evening. Overnight Sarchu.

Day 15: Sarchu – Manali.
After the breakfast drive for Manali, a beautiful scenic drive by crossing Baralacha La (4845m), lunch at Sissu village, later cross famous Rohtang Pass, 13050 ft. Arrive Manali by evening. Drop at Hotel in Manali Overnight in Manali

Day 16 : Transfer to Chandigarh 7/8 Hrs drive End of the Awesomne Journey

Ladakh is a High Altitude Region with drastic weather conditions  and Fragile environment    
Flexibility from Travellers is a must as no one has any control on natural calamities
Expect a change at all times as road conditions ,weather conditions and fragile environment we cannot control
Any expenses incurred due to natural hindrances  ,political disturbance ,stikes , such cost not in our programme each participant has to make own extra payments ,any such expenses will note be borne by our company so please be prepared to shell our extra emergency expenses when essential     
 Electric supply and heaters for running hot water is very rear is erratic at times   and hot water is supplied to your room in Bathing buckets . There is a acute water shortage so please use water sensibly .
Mobile and Phone network is present from time to time and can fail for many days due to network issues
